“Maeda” is a song by The Ohayogozaimas, released on November 23rd, 2017. The song was released as the first single and title track to “Maeda EP”, which came out two weeks after on December 6th.

The lyrics touch on themes of life, regret, choices, and the pursuit of meaning in an irrational world.

The song title is simply the name “Maeda” however it has a double meaning, as “mae da” can also mean “moving forward” with the context of the rest of the lyrics.

The song is 3 minutes, 51 seconds long. It follows a standard song structure and repeats the main riff repeatedly throughout the verse, second part of the chorus, and part of the bridge section.
